Offline Copies

Keep the documentation readable with no connection — in a hangar, in a field, or anywhere the signal runs out.

Two separate things live on this page, and they are easily confused. Saving pages makes the wiki readable offline and works in an ordinary browser tab. Installing the app downloads nothing at all — it only gives the wiki its own window, and makes your browser far less likely to delete what you have saved.

Keep offline

Common holds the images and pages shared between every wiki. It is required, and is downloaded only once however many vehicles you pick — which is why keeping three vehicles costs far less than three times one.

Unpack and open index.html. Pages load instantly; search needs to be served rather than opened straight from disk.

One file. python3 wiki.pyz serves it locally — instant pages, working search, nothing extracted to disk.

Save as a single file

Double-click, nothing to install. Around 30 seconds to open and several hundred megabytes, but Ctrl+F searches every page at once and it works from a USB stick.
